Our Commitment
At Serve & Disturb, we stand by the quality of our products. This policy outlines our commitment to you should a product not meet our high standards due to a manufacturing defect. Our warranty process differs by product type, so please read the relevant section below.
1. Rackets
Warranty Period
All Serve & Disturb rackets are covered by a 1-month (30-day) warranty from the date of purchase.
This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable. A valid proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email) is required for all claims.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. A manufacturing defect is a flaw in the product’s materials or workmanship that occurs during normal use and affects the performance or structural integrity of the racket.
What This Warranty Does NOT Cover
To keep things clear and fair, this warranty explicitly does not cover:
- Impact Damage: Any damage resulting from the racket hitting the court (glass, fence, ground), another racket, or any object other than a padel ball.
- Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, chips, dents, and paint flakes that do not affect the racket’s performance.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual deterioration from regular play, including wear on the grip or face of the racket.
- Improper Storage: Damage caused by leaving the racket in extreme temperatures (e.g., a hot car) or direct sunlight.
- Misuse or Alterations: Any damage resulting from modifications to the racket or use for any purpose other than playing padel.
How to Make a Claim for a Racket
If you believe your racket has a manufacturing defect and you are within the 1-month warranty period, please follow these steps:
- Stop using the racket immediately.
- Contact Us: Email our team at contact@serveanddisturb.co.uk with the subject line “Warranty Claim – [Your Order Number]”.
- Provide Information: In your email, please include your original order number, a clear description of the issue, and clear photographs showing the entire racket and close-ups of the specific area of the defect.
- Our Review: Our team will review your claim and assess whether the damage is likely the result of a manufacturing defect.
- Resolution: If your claim is approved, we will offer a replacement of the same model. If the model is no longer available, we will offer an equivalent alternative or store credit.
2. Apparel, Accessories & Custom-Printed Products
Apparel and other custom-printed items are not covered by a long-term performance warranty. However, we guarantee that they will be free from manufacturing defects upon arrival.
A manufacturing defect includes issues like printing errors, incorrect items, or damage to the material that occurred before you received it.
If you receive a faulty apparel or custom-printed item, please refer to our Delivery and Returns Policy for the full procedure. The process requires you to contact us within 14 days of receipt with photos of the issue so we can arrange for a free replacement.
This warranty provides benefits that are in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.
